My Proof Of Process

Every project here started with a problem. From focused design sprints to long-term operational builds, you'll find below a creative mix of results and outputs to showcase how I have already helped others. Some have hard metrics. Some have before-and-afters. Some are better measured in clarity gained or chaos avoided — which, if you've ever run a business, you'll know is worth plenty. Each one is documented honestly. Below you will find a deep dive into user journeys, wireframes, and the strategic architecture that has fuelled my latest projects.

Please feel free to reach out to chat in more detail about anything you have seen below.

Reducing the Mental Load of Everyday Cooking

Challenge

Recipes aren't the problem. People already encounter plenty of inspiration. The real barrier is decision fatigue at the moment of cooking.

Focus

Pantry-driven recipe discovery — reducing friction by starting with what's already in the kitchen, rather than adding more content.

Outcome

A concept app that shifts the model from inspiration platform to decision-support tool. Research, ideation, and a tested prototype.

User Research Brand Design Website Re-Design

Built to Be Better: Redesigning Alma Cara Studio

Challenge

A live site serving two distinct audiences without giving either of them a clear path — and a brand presence that didn't reflect the quality of what was on offer.

Focus

Full UX audit, information architecture overhaul, and brand consolidation — applying the same methodology used for clients to a real, live problem.

Outcome

A complete visual and strategic overhaul. The before-and-after tells the story better than any description could.

The Tension Between Solitude and Connection

Challenge

Kindle excels at solo reading but offers little for the social and shared dimensions that avid readers actively seek — tracking, reflecting, discussing.

Focus

Exploring how readers track progress, share reflections, and connect with like-minded people — and what that means for how the platform could evolve.

Outcome

A UX strategy for evolving Kindle from a primarily solo reading tool into a platform that holds both the quiet moments and the communal ones.

Bitesize Bakehouse — Built from Scratch

Challenge

To build a confectionery brand from nothing. With a clear vision, a lot of hard work, learning, and the kind of persistence that only comes from genuinely loving what you're making.

Focus

A holistic account of all the hats you need to wear as a business owner: product development, brand identity, e-commerce, customer experience, marketing, finance, events, workshops, wholesale, and the operational infrastructure to hold it all together.

Outcome

A business with a strong local presence, a loyal customer base, and a reputation that extended well beyond the kitchen. Great Taste Award-winning marshmallows, a national TV appearance, and recyclable income streams from building something with real foundations underneath it.
