"Soar" – Collaborative Watercolour Painting
Soar is a bold and vibrant watercolour painting that captures the moment of a hummingbird in flight, bringing a sense of freedom and movement into your space. This piece is extra special, as it’s the result of a unique collaboration between myself (Jade) and my sister Paris.
The journey began with Paris' original line-drawn sketch, full of delicate detail and inspired pondering. I then brought her vision to life with a bright, hot pink and bold orange watercolour base, layering in fine detailing to bring both of our artistic styles together.
The result is a lively, expressive piece that radiates joy, freedom, and the uplifting spirit of flight. We hope Soar will fill your space with energy and wonder, evoking the sense of lightness and beauty that hummingbirds embody. This painting is not only a celebration of nature’s grace but also a reflection of the bond between two artists.
Soar is painted on A4 watercolor paper, carefully framed in a white mount with an A3 aperture-sized white wooden frame. The piece is ready to hang, but can be carefully removed from the mount if you wish to reframe it to suit your space.
